As a Principal Engineer, you will architect and help implement major components of platform in Teams Client. We are looking for an engineer who is passionate and has experience on front end web frameworks (like Angular/React) and wants to build performant e2e experience and platform capabilities with our services. We build on the best that OSS and MSFT stacks have to offer - AngularJS + TypeScript + SASS + HTML5 + Node; Azure Services + Office 365 Fabric + Exchange services.
* Architect, design, and implement e2e platform capabilities in our NorthStar Teams Client * Contribute to our NorthStar vision building client using React/React Native * Contributing to team-wide fundamentals/infrastructure investments * Collaborating with partner teams/external ISVs to build out Teams SDK * Investigating and prototyping new technologies and frameworks * Writing and maintaining unit tests and automated integration tests
Required Qualifications * BS/MS Degree in CS or related engineering field. * 5+ years of relevant experience. * Very strong coding and development skills with experience in at least one of the following languages: JavaScript and understanding of Angular/React framework Preferred Qualifications * Experience building real world apps using web framework * Experience building backend services using ASP.NET
