The Amazon Air Cargo Security team is looking for an enthusiastic, customer obsessed Aviation Security executive to join the team as the Principal Risk Manager, Air Cargo Security. The Principal Risk Manager, Air Cargo Security will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing Aviation Security and Regulatory Compliance programs across the Air Amazon network – consisting of 21 U.S. airports served by a fleet of Boeing 767 and 737 cargo aircraft. The successful candidate will develop and provide the Amazon Air team and business partners with necessary tools, resources, and training to build and maintain the security culture. This position will require strong communication and partnership with Senior Leaders, managers, peers and team members, both within Amazon Air and with its contract airline and ground handling vendors, federal regulatory agencies, airport security teams as well as with other business partners, to drive effective solutions and mitigate any risks to the operation
· 7+ years of increasing responsibilities in Security and Investigations as well as the fundamentals of Aviation Security, specifically, TSA, USCBP regulatory programs · Strong background of working with Local and Federal aviation security bodies · Experience managing multiple direct reports. · Experience with FAA Safety Management Systems (SMS) requirements. · Working knowledge airline and airport operations, and security requirements. · Bachelor’s degree. · Holding a current security clearance · Experience in Air Cargo Operations. · Experience in working with Insider Threat Teams and Programs
