Microsoft's Business Applications Group requires a leader who can work with our ISV partners and with the groups across the company who support our ISV partners. Our ISV ecosystem team runs like a "startup" within Microsoft – agile, goal oriented, growth focused, and driven. You'll be responsible for deeply understanding ISV needs, helping us set priorities for how we support ISVs/partners within engineering, marketing/Go To Market, and selling, and setting long-term strategy. You'll work closely with both individual/functional and cross-functional teams as we build our ISV ecosystem. You will hit the ground running. You know what it's like to crisply define customer/partner needs, because you've done it before . You have directly applicable experience in setting team-level and workstream goals and managing them across teams, because you've done it before . Develop deep knowledge of the business applications market and the role/s ISVs play in this market, and understand ISV requirements from Microsoft. Work with engineering, marketing, business development and field teams to drive these requirements into our platforms, products, and plans. Identify the best practices and examples in our ISV work, and work with marketing to communicate these successes to build more momentum.
You have 10+ years industry expertise in technology companies. You understand ISV/developer needs and what it takes to build momentum in an ecosystem. You have a BA/BS or other relevant advanced degree. You are comfortable speaking to line of business managers or having executive conversations, both inside Microsoft and with partners. You provide focus and drive in identifying and resolving issues that span organizations and partnerships, creating a shared vision for results. You create the conditions for successful collaboration at the organizational level, fostering creativity and innovation
