As a Principal Perception Systems Engineer, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of hardware and software engineers to deliver sensing solutions for Prime Air vehicles. The successful candidate will be able to translate program requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams. The position requires hands-on system engineering work as well as technical team leadership. Export Control License This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.
· Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines, with significant electro-optics experience · 10+ years of industry experience · Experience with hardware, sensors and software integration with real-time operation · Demonstrated leadership responsibility for delivery of a technically demanding product, in a team environment · Experience taking a project from scoping requirements to design, production, and field deployment · Experience in deploying sensor suites in aerospace applications.· Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related disciplines · Experience
