Ideally the position will be based in Seattle, San Francisco or New York. In this position you will focus on supporting different client groups within AWS to develop and execute HR priorities that enable business priorities and foster the employee experience. We are looking for an Human Resources professional who has the ability to implement and optimize HR processes as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions in labor relations, HR policies and processes. · Develop and implement HR plans and solutions in order to achieve HR initiatives and deliver results. · Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues ensuring a balance in representing all parties’ interests
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent post-secondary degree required in Human Resources Management or related field · At least 5 years of professional work experience with some experience as an HR Generalist/Business Partner role Both verbally and written communication, including report writing skills · Decision making / complex problem solving - demonstrates problem solving and analytical capability; proactively gathers the right data from appropriate sources; conducts root cause analysis; refers to long term plans and goals; acts decisively, promptly and confidently; complex analysis · Proven ability
