Drive the Device ecosystem adoption of core Microsoft technology and ensure partner technical readiness to ship Microsoft products at launch. Develop strong technical relationships and high CPE with the Microsoft product groups. This position will manage a large technical sales team of resources across all OEM partners – Dell, HP, Lenovo, Acer, GDP as well as ODM partner ecosystem. The role will have direct management responsibilities of a team of 30+.
Account Management: Adapts and executes engineering strategy across the Device ecosystem of accounts Build and maintain technical (and other) customer relationships for Device sales and/or internal cross group customers (Subs, field, etc) Partner with VP of Device Sales to develop 5 year vision for Device Sales and 3 year Growth Strategy Partner with account GMs in the development of technical elements of account plans Capture and deliver customer/market intelligence to Device sales and the MS product organizations Enable partners to navigate Microsoft's technical infrastructure and manage escalations
Education/Experience: Technical Degree, 10+ years industry related systems engineering experience. Proven customer relationship skills, executive maturity. Attributes and Competencies: Customer focused, strong (demonstrable) communication skills, strong industry knowledge, cross group collaboration, passionate about technology and the Device ecosystem, results driven, intellectually sharp, a quick learner, understands how to drive results in a corporate environment, strong evangelist of Microsoft technology.
