The Communications leader for Microsoft's Commercial Business is responsible for: Global communications strategy for the bulk of the Commercial businesses at Microsoft including Azure, Artificial Intelligence, Mixed Reality, Dynamics, Hololens, etc. Analyst Relations strategy and execution spanning all of Microsoft's businesses Audience and Industry Communications strategy and execution for Microsoft inclusive of Business Development, Mergers + Acquisitions, Customer, Partner, Government, and Developer communications Understanding market trends and storylines, connecting with partner companies,
Qualifications of the Comms Leader Minimum of 15+ years of experience in marketing and/or communications related functions with a track record of success building and delivering communications impact Deep ethos and understanding of customer needs and the methods by which to gather research and intuition on articulated and unarticulated needs Ability to work across groups – Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Senior Executives to build a unified view of communications.
