AWS Finance seeks a Financial Analyst to support AWS Pinpoint, Simple Email Service and Mobile Services. This position will work closely with key business partners across AWS and other Amazon organizations to drive thoughtful planning, analysis, decision support, and controllership for future investment. This position will also coordinate with external parties, such as vendors inquiring for payments, and internal stakeholders, such as the Service Financial Planning and Analysis team. The candidate will be responsible for handling information requests, generating monthly reporting,
· BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.· Advanced analytical skills · Advanced knowledge of Excel/ financial modeling · 2+ years of financial modeling skills · An ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions · An ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload · Knowledge of computing industry · An ability to work independently and self-motivate
