The Microsoft 365 marketing team is looking for an experienced marketing leader to drive the go to market for the modern desktop. This is a unique opportunity to be at the center of how we are shifting businesses to a better experience with Microsoft 365. A modern desktop is a modern device, running Windows 10 and Office 365, managed by the cloud with ConfigMgr and Intune. It enables the most productive, most secure and lowest cost computing experience in the industry. As a Director of Modern Desktop GTM, you will be directly responsible for go to market of Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows Virtual Desktop, Microsoft Managed Desktop and modern desktop compete. You will have revenue accountability and oversight over sales motion, field plays, field readiness. In this job you will work across a variety of engineering, sales, customers, partners and other GTM teams across Microsoft to drive a multi-billion dollar business and incubate new growth areas. Deliver on Windows revenue and modern desktop deployment targets Incubate Windows Virtual Desktop in partnership with Azure Incubate Microsoft Managed Desktop in partnership with engineering Compete and grow into new greenfield areas such as Firstline Workers Ensure field sellers and partners are ready and excited to sell our modern desktop solutions with Microsoft 365 Recruit and develop a high performing team of marketers
Proven sales and marketing skills to drive sales investment Track record of influencing sales leaders in large organizations Strong executive communication skills, both written and verbal Deep experience engaging directly with customers and partners Excellent people management capabilities to attract, grow and retain top talent Strong cross-group collaboration skills to work across Microsoft 10+ years technology product management, marketing, mgmt. consulting, or similar positions BA/BS required. MBA preferred
