Global Publishing, a division of Xbox Game Studios, is looking for an experienced PM to drive and manage licensing contracts. We're looking for a seasoned individual with a combination of skills and experience across multiple areas of responsibility for this exciting role. Those areas of responsibility include managing and driving execution of licensing agreements from initial contact with licensors through execution of contracts and then maintaining the ongoing relationship throughout the product's lifecycle. The successful candidate will have a critical mass of experience and skills in these areas/phases. Accountabilities for the successful candidate will include coordination across multiple individuals and/or team disciplines such as content, design, marketing, business development, legal, and studio management as well as external partners and licensors. You'll work with key external licensors to ensure their intellectual property is accurately represented. Success for this role includes
Responsibilities: Pitch the opportunity to licensors and find areas of alignment between Microsoft and licensors Understand the licensor landscape and create relationships throughout the industry in order to minimize reliance on a limited set of licensors Gather new game features and IP wishlist from content and design teams Assess and communicate license risk of IP Drive assigned licensing projects and / or deal negotiations towards successful completion Manage internal compliance of contractual terms and requirements Work with other team discipline project leads to ensure alignment Compile licensing
