AWS Global Infrastructure Datacenter Security Automation Technology is looking for an applied scientist who is a passionate advocate of enterprise data security and asset security. Our group designs and builds autonomous system solutions to protect customer data and intellectual property in AWS datacenters worldwide. We are looking for an Applied Scientist who can build a scalable, distributed and robust computer vision platform based on a variety of techniques in deep learning, machine learning and image processing algorithms. You will be contributing to shaping the security software architecture that will be deployed to all rapidly growing AWS data centers around the world. You will be at the forefront of building services that shape how AWS data centers operate. The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, innovative, and results-oriented.

· BS in Computer Science, or equivalent · Depth and breadth in state-of-the-art computer vision and machine learning technologies · 3+ years of hands-on experience in predictive modeling and analysis · Strong algorithm development experience · Experience with SQL and proficient in one software language (e.g., C++, Java, Python)· MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics or a related quantitative field · Publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals · Proven track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing the state of the art
