Description
Microsoft’s Device Partner Sales (DPS) organization is responsible for partnering with the world’s largest device and technology companies to ensure that Microsoft’s software products and services are available on compelling hardware solutions world-wide. In doing so, DPS generates a significant portion of Microsoft’s revenue and profits. We build, market and sell breakthrough AI-powered devices and cloud experiences with partners, including Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), device distribution and reseller channels, Original Design Manufacturers (ODM), and Silicon providers.Opportunities in DPS are expansive. We span the entire product lifecycle from incubation, prototyping, and portfolio planning to the device design, and selling them through the Retail, Distribution and Reseller channel, sell-through to their consumer and commercial customers. As a member of our team, you will be part of growing a multi-billion-dollar business, charting new areas of innovation, and contributing to our partnership engagements worldwide. You will play a pivotal role in driving the sales and growth of Windows devices and AI services in partnership with the strength of our device partner ecosystem.
The Windows Consumer Gaming Strategy Lead is responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of Gaming on Windows devices, coordinating teams across sales, engineering, and device partnerships. Essential for advancing DPS success, this role is accountable for Gaming long term strategies, data-driven decision making from market analysis, and navigates complexities in the business. By harmonizing Windows and Xbox Game Pass, the role supports the development of innovative solutions and the modernization of established business practices, playing a key role in our overall growth strategy.

Own and orchestrate business rhythm across sales, engineering, and partner teams to build, sell, and market our products and solutions.Manage long-range planning (LRP) across various departments and teams, ensuring partner impact and revenue opportunities.Develop a 1–3-year strategic vision for our consumer and gaming devices strategy, identifying growth opportunities and potential roadblocks including post-sale monetization through attach of Office/M365 and Xbox Game Pass services.Lead initiatives bridging the Windows Consumer Gaming Strategy with Xbox Game Pass, identifying and championing strategic investments to meet consumer needs and drive competitive advantage through partner device differentiation.Ensure strategic alignment across engineering, marketing, partners, and sales teams.Define and drive priorities, initiatives, programs, and enablement to support sales growth.Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to playbooks, assets, and training materials for field sales teams.Collaborate with Multinational Account (MNA) partners and Local Device Partners (LDP) to align and execute joint strategies for mutual growth.
Qualifications
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related fieldOR equivalent experience.4+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives across product, marketing, and sales teams, driving alignment, strategic planning, and rhythm-of-business execution without direct authority.4+ years of experience developing Go-to-Market strategies for new products. 4+ years of experience creating visuals, compelling stories leveraging data, and presenting work to executive audiences. Sales Strategy Enablement IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
