Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic web marketing team. This role is crucial in shaping the digital experiences across a multitude of commercial products, campaigns and marketing content for our users by focusing on website strategy, system level design, information architecture, and page-level UI design. The ideal candidate will have a background in creating user-centered websites that are both innovative, scalable, accessible, functional and visually appealing. The Senior UX Designer acts as both a trusted strategic advisor and practitioner that can help translate our the objectives of our business partners into elegant, scalable solutions.

Website Strategy: Partner with business stakeholders to translate web marketing objectives into comprehensive website experiences. Develop and implement comprehensive website strategies that align with business goals and enhance the user experience. This includes understanding user needs, market trends, and business objectives to create a cohesive and effective digital presence. It also includes a consultative approach and partnership with a variety of stakeholders.Information Architecture: Design and structure the information architecture of our websites to ensure intuitive navigation, easy access to information, and connection to the Microsoft brand. This involves organizing content in a way that is logical and user-friendly. Page-Level UI Design: Create detailed page-level User Interface (UI) designs that are visually appealing and provide a seamless user experience. This includes designing layouts, selecting appropriate color schemes, typography, and ensuring consistency across all pages.User Research: Conduct primary and secondary research to gather insights into trends, competitive assessments, user behavior, needs, and pain points. Use this information to inform design decisions and improve the overall user experience.Prototyping and Wireframing: Develop prototypes and wireframes to visualize design concepts and test them with users. Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including site managers, product marketing managers, developers, and creatives to ensure that design solutions are accurate, feasible and aligned with business goals.Usability Testing: Conduct usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness of design solutions and identify areas for improvement. Use findings to refine and enhance the user experience.Journey & Data Analysis: Assess performance and the efficacy of your design solutions through data and insights, proactively recommending ideas and optimizations grounded in best practice.Fearless Innovation: While we have standards, guidelines and a design system, we also have the most innovative, cutting edge AI at our fingertips. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years of professional UX experience leading creative work, branding, graphic design, marketing and digitalOR equivalent experience. 3+ years experience with design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, wireframing tools, etc3+ years experience conducting user research and usability testing. 3+ years experience in customer journey mapping 3+ years experience in design innovation. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 2+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experience OR equivalent experience.Experience with design systems, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and generative AI tools Experience with Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams

Integrated Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
