As a Senior UX Designer - M365 Copilot & Agents, you will lead the charge in crafting intuitive, AI-powered solutions that seamlessly integrate Copilot into every sales workflow, from streamlining CRM updates to analyzing the sales pipeline and generating insights on the go. You will understand the broader sales context, user pain points, and business goals, turning the promise of AI into practical, delightful experiences that transform how our customers work.

In this role, you will alternate between visionary exploration and detailed execution, rapidly sketching concepts to inspire new ideas and digging deep to design effective end-to-end scenarios and drive alignment across teams. You’ll partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists to navigate technical constraints, and work with UX Researchers and Sales professionals to ground your designs in real customer insights.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of best-in-class AI powered experiences that simplify complex sales tasks, increase seller focus time, and create trustworthy Copilot and AI agent interactions across all surfaces, producing high quality design artifacts including user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and vision concepts that clearly communicate intent and elevate UI quality.Drive rapid experimentation through prototyping, usability testing, analysis, and feedback. Refine solutions to deliver measurable user and business impact.Embody a Microsoft mindset by extending design thinking beyond individual features. Consider holistic user journeys, platform cohesion, and the broader organizational impact of design decisions.Communicate design rationale with clarity and confidence. Influence cross functional partners and senior stakeholders through compelling storytelling that articulates customer value and outcomes.Contribute to a strong design culture through design reviews, workshops, and mentorship. Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and psychologically safe team environment.Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and other key stakeholders to shape product definition and deliver high quality, customer centric solutions aligned with business goals and technical constraints.Be an advocate for our customers, by understanding sales personas, workflows, and pain points. Translate insights, data, and business requirements into clear UX strategy and design direction.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service designOR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems). Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing and prototyping user interfaces using tools such as Figma (or similar).Deep knowledge of UX design principles and heuristics, with proven experience creating or working with component-based design systems to build cohesive, scalable user experiences.A portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end product design work and thought process (please include a link to your portfolio in your CV/resume). Understanding of AI systems and the broader AI industry, including common design patterns for AI-assisted experiences. Experience applying emerging practices such as VibeCoding or VibeDesigning to shape intuitive, trustworthy, user-centered AI interactions.Experience taking product designs from concept to launch, delivering end-to-end solutions that shipped to customers.Experience designing for enterprise or data-rich applications – familiarity with AI-powered features, enterprise productivity tools, or sales/CRM platforms is a strong plus.Proven ability to advocate for user-centered design, influence product strategy, and drive alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You proactively identify problems and collaborate creatively to solve them.

Product Design IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
