As a Telecom Network Engineering Manager your focus will be to lead the team of Network Engineers responsible for the global corporate voice, Cellular DAS, and Microsoft Cellular Network (MCN) infrastructure supporting global environments and mission‑critical communication services. You will be responsible for oversight of daily operations and maintenance of these essential platforms as well as creation of strategies and deployment of new technologies that advance service capabilities in the future. A very strong understanding of telecom architectures, cellular systems, voice technologies, and the security models that support these service areas will be critical to ensure these foundational communication services are architected, designed, deployed, and maintained at a high standard.

Responsibilities
You will set the strategic direction for Corporate Voice, Cellular DAS, and MCN services by defining engineering standards, security and compliance expectations, service architectures, and published guidance that empowers teams to deliver resilient, high‑quality telecom capabilities at global scale.You will oversee service reliability and incident operations by guiding teams through high‑impact outages, coordinating cross‑functional response efforts, driving transparent communication, and institutionalizing prevention through root‑cause analysis, automation, telemetry improvements, and structured operational reviews.You will lead and develop telecom engineering talent by modeling clarity, accountability, and operational excellence; coaching engineers while enabling strong technical judgment; and fostering a culture that values continuous learning, collaboration, and customer‑centered problem solving.You will drive continuous improvement and operational maturity by overseeing capacity planning, performance management, device lifecycle management, risk assessments, quality assurance, and data‑driven decision‑making across the telecom service portfolio.You will strengthen organizational alignment and partnership by proactively removing inter‑team blockers, influencing partner roadmaps, ensuring alignment across engineering, product, and vendor ecosystems, and creating consistent execution frameworks that scale across globally distributed infrastructure and service teams.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automationOR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automationOR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation OR equivalent experience. 2+ years people management experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.Preferred Qualifications:
15+ years technical engineering experience in telecom services including, but not limited to VoIP, PSTN, and Cellular Voice/Data.
Cloud Network Engineering M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
