Description

Overview

Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is at the core of building and operating the Microsoft Cloud. Within CO+I, the Datacenter Planning & eXecution Engineering (DPXE) organization delivers global datacenter capacity at massive scale, balancing safety, cost, schedule, and quality across highly complex, multi‑year initiatives.

The DPX Engineering team builds and operates the digital backbone that powers engineering, procurement, construction, supply chain, and commercial execution. This includes enterprise platforms such as SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, and Icertis CLM, alongside modern services and analytics. Our charter is to simplify complexity, automate outcomes, and progressively infuse intelligence - data, insights, and AI - into how Microsoft plans and executes its cloud infrastructure.

We are looking for a Senior Technical SAP Program Manager who can span the end‑to‑end Source‑to‑Contract lifecycle, with deep grounding across SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying) and Icertis Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM). This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, enterprise platforms, and engineering delivery, translating complex commercial and operational needs into scalable, well‑designed product capabilities.

This is an individual contributor role with broad influence. You will own product outcomes, drive a clear vision, partner deeply with engineering and business stakeholders, and shape how contract and sourcing data becomes a strategic asset across the CO+I ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Own the product vision and roadmap for capabilities spanning Ariba Source‑to‑Contract and Icertis CLM, aligned with CO+I and DPXE strategic priorities. Partner with business stakeholders across Procurement, Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, and Engineering to translate business problems into clearly articulated product requirements. Drive end‑to‑end delivery in partnership with engineering: discovery, requirements, prioritization, design validation, release readiness, and adoption. Lead Icertis CLM functional and technical enablement, including requirement definition, fit‑gap analysis, configuration strategy, integration patterns, and lifecycle governance. Shape and influence integrations across Ariba, SAP ECC, and adjacent enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency, scalability, and reliability. Balance near‑term execution with long‑term platform evolution, identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve cycle time, and increase compliance and visibility. Champion AI‑forward thinking - identifying where signal, analytics, recommendations, or copilots can realistically augment sourcing, contracting, or contract operations. Collaborate in an agile operating model: backlog management, sprint planning, demos, stakeholder reviews, and continuous learning. Act as a trusted product partner, influencing without authority and driving alignment across diverse, global teams.
