You will lead the development and delivery of real, production-ready solutions that remove friction from day-to-day marketing workflows and prove impact with data.

Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers advertisers around the world to reach their potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform.

As a Senior Technical Program Specialist focused on Marketing, you will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of marketing automations and AI agents that reduce friction in real marketing workflows.

Responsibilities

Partner with Marketing stakeholders to understand business objectives, map key workflows, and identify high-impact automation and agent opportunities.Lead the design and delivery of agents and automations using low-code-first tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot experiences), connecting them to approved data sources and workflows.When requirements exceed low-code capabilities, collaborate with engineering to define and deliver pro-code extensions using modern, AI-assisted development tools.Operationalize solutions: drive monitoring, reliability practices, and continuous improvement; partner with analytics to define success metrics and measure business impact.Lead rapid prototyping and iteration: coordinate user testing, incorporate feedback, and continuously improve the human experience and adoption.Ensure solutions follow Microsoft Responsible AI practices and applicable governance/security expectations.Lead incident reviews and drive preventive automations, training, and documentation so solutions are resilient and easy to use.Proactively research emerging trends and innovations in the industry and propose improvements.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Experience applying generative AI/LLM-based tools to business workflows, including evaluating usefulness, managing risks/guardrails, and measuring impact. Additional or preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).2+ years of experience using low-code/no-code programs (e.g., Dataverse, Power Applications).2+ years of experience managing and configuring artificial intelligence solutions (e.g., chatbots).

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
