The M365 Enterprise and Cloud Team seeks a Principal Technical Program Manager with business acumen to understand the unique needs of Microsoft’s enterprise customers. This role, positioned in the US, is ideal for someone who loves being close to both the customers and the M365 engineering teams to resolve problems that are often unique to large, regulated customers. In this role, you are in a unique position to identify top product issues AND be empowered to resolve them through creative solutions. You’ll represent Microsoft and the Office of CVP (Corporate Vice President) as you interact directly with our engineering community and account teams to timely resolve pressing questions and bring technical and regulatory solutions to C-suite level customers.

Demonstrate technical depth in M365 services, software development and troubleshooting skills. Be the voice and advocate for our customer, reporting and acting on observed areas for improvement. Collaborate with Engineering and other multi-functional teams on specific customer-impacting issues and bugs. Understand how our customers use Microsoft 365 services to provide valuable insights to business and development teams. Work with other community engineers to ensure a consistent and high-quality level of support. Actively seek solutions to customer needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions. Provide prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service to M365 customers and account teams. Improve internal efficiency and customer satisfaction by actively finding opportunities to optimize existing or new processes and tools. Assume responsibility for developing detailed knowledge about specific product lines and features.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Requirements:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport. Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
