Description

Overview

Are you passionate about building product solutions that help our customers strengthen their security posture, reach a measurable Good State, and become ready to operate at AI speed? Do you want to turn fragmented guidance into clear, prioritized, in-product actions that help customers identify, prioritize, and complete the highest-impact hardening actions across identity, devices, cloud, code, and data? Does Microsoft Security’s mission to make the world safer for everyone inspire you?

Microsoft Security is looking for a Technical Program Manager to help drive delivery of the next generation of customer readiness experiences. This role sits at the center of our effort to build a single, cross-suite, measurable definition of Good State and turn it into an operating program that helps customers improve posture in weeks, not years. The role requires strong product leadership, deep cross-company collaboration, and a bias for action to translate strategy into integrated product outcomes that customers can deploy and operate at scale. Success in this role will depend on driving clear accountability across product teams, field, partner, and marketing channels, while helping ship the supporting systems customers need to reach and sustain Good State over a defined window.

Responsibilities

Good State Definition & Measurement: Lead the definition of a single, cross-suite, measurable Good State for customer security readiness, including the metrics, milestones, and feedback loops needed to track customer progress and raise the bar over time.

Prioritization & Hardening Actions: Drive product experiences that help customers identify, prioritize, and complete the highest-leverage hardening actions across identity, devices, cloud, code, and data.

Automation & Agentic Workflows: Shape automation and agentic workflows that compress time to health by triaging issues, explaining impact, proposing changes, executing approved fixes, and verifying improvement while keeping humans in control.

Supporting Systems & Adoption Motion: Partner across engineering, design, CXE, field, partner, and marketing teams to ship the supporting systems required for Good State, including tools, agents, training materials, executive and practitioner dashboards, communication templates, and support.

Cross-Team Accountability: Designate and drive clear accountability across teams to build solutions that identify and implement the highest-impact readiness actions in customer environments, while preventing posture drift over time.
