As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering AI‑first engineering initiatives that prevent issues before they happen, embed intelligent automation, and turn rich operational signals into decisive action. You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, data, and business outcomes—driving clarity, alignment, and measurable customer impact at scale.
Azure Reliability is leading the transformation to AI‑powered operations, building scalable ML and MLOps infrastructure that enables autonomous, reliable, and secure cloud systems. We are looking for a experienced product-focused TPM who pairs deep technical expertise with a strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a passion for applying AI responsibly to real‑world operational problems.

Responsibilities
Drive a cohesive vision across teams, providing customer-centric input on priorities, communicating status and updates, while creating clarity on objectives to be delivered. Ability to create general contractor framework to deliver horizontal reliability initiatives. You can influence various engineering roles from engineer to engineering leadership. You are the creator and advocate of the Story (the why) and are responsible for describing the value and promoting the work at the appropriate external and internal venues. Define what success looks like, how we measure it, and how we get there. Create an inclusive work environment where every team member can bring their full and authentic self, where all voices are heard, and the team can deliver their best work as a result.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Additional or preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
