Our culture is centered on embracing a growth mindset, a theme of inspiring excellence, and encouraging teams and leaders to bring their best each day. In doing so, we create life-changing innovations that impact billions of lives around the world. Microsoft is one of the largest enterprise service companies in the world.
TEAM OVERVIEW
The Azure Security Platform team is responsible for delivering foundational security primitives that protect millions of virtual machines, disks and customers running on the Microsoft Cloud. Our team builds and operates core platform capabilities—including Trusted Launch, key management, confidential computing —that ensure Azure’s compute platform is secure‑by‑default and resistant to modern attack vectors. We work across identity, platform security, operating systems, hardware, and global compute infrastructure to deliver high‑integrity systems that our customers trust to run their most critical workloads. Our mission is simple and bold: strengthen the security of the Azure platform at hyperscale, without compromising performance, reliability, or developer agility.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an exceptional Principal Technical Program Manager to lead the strategy, delivery, and global adoption of Trusted Launch and other security initiatives across Azure. In this role, you will drive long‑term security innovation, define multi‑year product roadmaps, and orchestrate complex cross‑organization programs that span compute, identity, platform security, and engineering systems. You will influence engineering architecture, partner closely with senior leaders, and bring clarity to deeply technical and ambiguous problem spaces. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building secure cloud platforms, shaping industry‑leading security capabilities, and driving programs that have material impact on the global security posture of Azure. Successful candidates bring strong security intuition, excellent communication, data‑driven decision‑making, and the ability to lead at scale.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.
