Would you like to be a foundational part in delivering on Microsoft’s AI commitments by joining a security team dedicated to ensuring the safety of our critical infrastructure?

The Security Engineering & Critical Infrastructure team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager who is technically adept, creative, highly organized and adaptable. You will work across software engineering, datacenter operations, and security engineering teams to enable the use and deployment of workstations and streamline processes. This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%. Create roadmaps, specifications, and reports to track the user onboarding for security devices in the data centersCreate clear use case scenarios, stakeholder documentation and policy validation for end user adoption and replacement scenariosResearch each problem space to craft clear requirements delivering on the business expectations as well as continually improving our solutions allowing engineers to easily build, execute and testExecute comprehensive plans by working across groups to prioritize deliverables, manage risks, react quickly to challenges, report regular status, evaluate deliverable completion, define quality success criteria, and iterate on solution developmentApply data driven insights and ability to develop KPIs to measure program effectiveness, and communicate to decision makers in regular forumsCommunicating goals, status and procedures to your stakeholders so that any new change is understood and acted uponWork with your teammates to execute on time with high-quality while fostering a collaborative and inclusive environmentIdentify product and process gaps, and then iteratively drive improvements as well as ensuring adoption of improved support experiencesCreate process design and documentationManage ADO (Azure DevOps) process adherenceand to have fun and enjoy the work and time spent with colleagues!Hands-on experience in network security and access control principles, who can leverage their expertise in VPNs, firewalls, network segmentation, and secure access protocols to strengthen our platform infrastructure and protect critical systems.Embody our Culture & Values



Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+years’ experience in cybersecurity, product/technical program management

OR equivalent experience.

2+ years’ experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

2+ years’ experience working in a cybersecurity capacity

Professional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Attention to detail, data analysis skills and a clear understanding of project management and product management best practices

Experience with Azure DevOps engineering planning

Proficient analytical capabilities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications and Tools – Excel, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI, Power Automate/Power Platform, Azure DevOps

1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).

Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, AWS/Azure Certified Security Specialty)Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
