We are hiring for a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead and drive large-scale security initiatives related to prevention of secret leaks across cloud services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the resilience and compliance of Microsoft services, enabling our customers to operate securely at scale. As a Principal TPM, you will partner with engineering, security, services, and compliance teams to define strategy, align roadmaps, and deliver secure-by-design solutions that span Microsoft’s global cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications
Required Qualificatons Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.5+ years of experience with SQL, Kusto or similar technologies5+ years of experience with key management and authentication protocols

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under export control regulations, potentially under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations or Export Administration Regulations, the EU Dual Use Regulation, and/or other export control regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide either proof of their country of citizenship or proof of their U.S. permanent residency or other protected status (e.g., under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) for assessment of eligibility to access the export controlled information. To meet this legal requirement, and as a condition of employment, the successful candidate’s citizenship will be verified with a valid passport. Additional or Preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).Clear understanding of API keys, OAuth client secrets, JWT signing keys, SSH/TLS keys, cloud access keys, service principals, and rotation/revocation flow.
Solid grasp of PKI, key lifecycles, least privilege, and threat modeling.
Hands-on with key management for at least one major cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) including secrets management, IAM, and service-to-service authentication protocols.
Familiarity with risk scoring models, severity classification, and remediation ownership delegation.
Communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing across orgs.
Ability to drive alignment and execution across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Familiarity with security compliance standards (FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Experience working in large-scale, distributed cloud environments.
Lead strategic programs to improve security posture, including redaction and prevention of credential leaks across Microsoft cloud services.
Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
