We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to lead and drive large-scale network security and isolation initiatives across cloud services. This role is pivotal in ensuring the resilience, compliance, and segmentation of Microsoft services, enabling our customers to operate securely at scale. As a Principal TPM, you will partner with engineering, security, networking, and compliance teams to define strategy, align roadmaps, and deliver secure-by-design solutions that span Microsoft’s global cloud infrastructure.

Lead strategic programs to improve network security posture, including isolation, segmentation, and perimeter hardening across Microsoft cloud services.

Define program vision, strategy, and execution plans in collaboration with security, networking, engineering, and compliance teams.

Own the delivery of complex, cross-team initiatives that span multiple division

Drive adoption of zero-trust principles, private networking, and service-level isolation patterns.

Track and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of program milestones.

Build and manage program-level dashboards and KPIs, ensuring leadership visibility and data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Experience leading multi-disciplinary programs involving network security, cloud architecture, or service isolation.Understanding of networking concepts such as VNet, NSG, firewalls, routing, DNS, and load balancers.Knowledge of cloud security and isolation strategies (e.g., zero trust, segmentation, private endpoints).Communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing across orgs.Ability to drive alignment and execution across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).Experience with Azure networking and security features (e.g., Azure Firewall, Private Link, Azure Policy).Familiarity with security compliance standards (FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).Experience working in large-scale, distributed cloud environments.Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
