If yes, you’ve come to the right place! At our team, we are looking for diligent, insightful and creative Senior Security Technical Program Manager to help, analyze, quantify, characterize and drive solutions for most challenging security problems in Azure through data driven, product driven lens.

In this role, you will advance security by working with Security Engineers, Program and Product Managers, Developers, and Business Leaders throughout Microsoft to turn individual security engineering findings into vulnerability patterns and insights that can be measured and managed through engineering, automation, and other appropriate mitigations. You will help identify the most demanding security problems through data analysis and help design and deliver practical solutions at scale for products and services. You will build relationships with product teams, apply security knowledge to improve product security outcomes, and develop plans and timelines for security pattern investigations and engineering deliverables.

Build relationships with internal teams, supporting variant hunting across multiple product areas. Collaborate with security partners to implement and ensure security improvements.Define success criteria and performance metrics for the variant hunting program, working with engineering and security teams to ensure necessary data is developed and accessible.Collaborate with engineering leaders to integrate features into product development and planning cycles. Partner closely with governance programs to align security outcomes for product teams. Develop and drive performance targets by collaborating with product teams, ensuring work is tracked, coordinated, communicated, and delivered within defined timelines.Enhance customer experience for product teams by providing comprehensive documentation, monitoring engagement, reporting progress, and delivering valuable insights.Evangelize security investments and measure progress across the board by building metrics and reporting structures. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafterAdditional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos). 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Understand security fundamentals such as SDL, Threat Modelling, vulnerabilities assessment, and the ability to assess risk and collaborate with engineering teams to develop remediation plans. Experience working on reporting, bug tracking, triaging, and SCRUMs. Knowledge of encryption, security protocols, software communication APIs, and operating systems including Linux and Windows. Competent in cross-team collaboration, achieving results, written and verbal communication, and maintaining executive presence. A willingness to continuously learn and contribute to an inclusive environment. Technical understanding of a broad set of technologies and the ability to learn new information at a rapid pace specially security domain knowledge. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Willingness to learn, improve, and demonstrate persistence despite setbacks. Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
