The Strategy and Operations (S&O) Org, DSVI teams are dedicated to driving strategic vision and operational excellence across CE&S. We aim to enhance our company's edge by leveraging market insights, fostering innovation, and ensuring seamless execution of strategic initiatives. Within S&O, the Product Lifecycle and insights team is focused primarily on Day-0 readiness.

As a member of the Product Lifecycle NPI team, the focus of this role is Day-Zero readiness for MSFT Partners, Customer Service & Support (CSS) and Customer Success Unit (CSU). We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager (TPM) whose primary focus will be on Partner Commerce, Commercial & Federal GTM to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Partner TPM, you will be responsible for driving the implementation and launch of Partner releases from use cases to general availability (GA) relevant to CSS, CSU, and Partner ensuring releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality. Additionally, employing AI, Copilot, Agents to improve process, employ automation to help increase productivity, quality, and readiness.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

Program Leadership & Delivery

Lead and manage Partner launches from inception to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with project goals.Drive support readiness by coordinating readiness content with stakeholders before launch, ensuring partners have training materials to support and sell offerings before Day 0.Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with data scientists, engineers, product managers, planners, and other stakeholders to define impact, requirements, scope, and deliverables.Lead cross-group vTeam coordination, track deliverables, and build strong peer-to-peer relationships across functions.Communication & Visibility

Create and execute communication plans to ensure NPI/Release visibility and regularly communicate release status to vTeam and stakeholders.Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on status, milestones, and issues.Risk Management & Resource Allocation

Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure success.Allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams have the necessary tools and support to achieve objectives.Technical Guidance & Problem Solving

Provide technical guidance and support leveraging expertise in Partner and project management to solve complex release challenges.Use technical expertise and AI to identify efficiencies and drive solutions.Quality Assurance & Best Practices

Implement best practices for testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of Partner models and solutions.Continuous Improvement & Innovation

Stay current with latest advancements in Partner domain and apply knowledge to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management or project management, data analysis, computer science, or product development OR equivalent experience.1+ years' experience Project Management

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent professional experience.1+ year of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).PMP certification (highly desired), Scrum Master or other relevant Agile certifications, and experience with Lean Six Sigma and/or Agile methodologies.Expertise in Windows OS technologies across commercial and consumer platforms, including Windows 11, Windows Server, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 (Enterprise & Business), Microsoft 365, Copilot in Windows, and strong cloud OS proficiency.Background in technology, healthcare, or finance industries where Windows OS is applied to solve real-world problems.Proven experience in technical program management (Windows OS and machine learning), with strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders; and proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, or Asana.

Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
