We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our group and help us lead the next generation of Azure OpenAI and AI Platform featured. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features within the Azure OpenAI Service including REST API design and other tooling for interacting with OpenAI’s models. The Senior Technical Product Manager will be front and center with the world’s leading brands representing the AI platform core engineering team in support of their digital journey, empowering them to accelerate their value and achieve more.

Work cross-functionally to bring features live to the service Drive product requirements definition, product planning and product design (including writing PRDs) of new features and enhancementsClearly communicate product benefits to our users and internal stakeholdersLead matrixed internal Microsoft teams and partners using a breadth of technical knowledge and industry experience Anticipate, identify, and mitigate blockers to customer success goals Collaborate with key roles including core team of engineers, applied researchers, and others to deliver full Microsoft value to customers Share actionable insight, learnings, feedback to drive continuous improvements

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program managementOR software developmentOR equivalent experience.Prior hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLM) such as OpenAI and others, Azure AI, Azure ML or their equivalent is highly preferred Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
