The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Responsibilities
Lead end to end supply chain strategy development, shaping multiyear transformation roadmaps, strategic priorities, and translating them into clear program structures, success metrics, OKRs, and KPIs. Conduct industry thought leadership, benchmarking, and gap analysis to identify structural constraints, performance gaps, cost drivers, and emerging risks; convert insights into actionable, business-value-aligned recommendations. Develop and present business cases for capital, resourcing, and technology investments grounded in ROI, feasibility, and strategic alignment. Drive integrated e2e workflow solutions by partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams across planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and spares. Orchestrate cross-functional alignment, ensuring unified execution, dependency management, and shared accountability across Planning, Sourcing, Make, Deliver, Engineering, and Finance. Advance digital and AI-First supply chain capabilities by defining requirements with Engineering and Data/AI teams and accelerating adoption of Agentic AI workflows, automation and analytics. Lead scenario planning, resilience modeling, and risk-management frameworks to strengthen continuity, responsiveness, and informed decision-making. Craft executive-ready narratives, decision frameworks, and prioritization mechanisms that simplify complexity and secure alignment and investment for key initiatives. Own end‑to‑end program management and operating model design, establishing governance routines, capability-building mechanisms, change management plans, and cross-functional alignment in ambiguous environments. Build trusted stakeholder relationships, enabling influence without authority, resolving friction, driving change leadership, and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR equivalent experience.
Preferred qualifications:Experience in hyperscale tech or top‑tier supply chain consulting (cloud, semiconductor, hardware, or global ops).
Strong analytical + executive communication skills to translate complex technical/financial insights into clear recommendations.Familiarity with digital supply chain technologies, including advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML–enabled tools in supply chain.Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 7+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR equivalent experience.
Supply Chain Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
