Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.We are looking to hire a Supply Chain Program Manager in our Redmond, Washington Office or to our Austin offices. Meet regularly with assigned suppliers to review forecasts, capture supply commitments, and publish internally.Review and manage PO process for spares to assure compliance and supportability against our 3PL inventory positioning.Manage metrics including days of supply, E&O, shortages within lead time and inventory exposure at each supplier to improve performance.Work with Lifecycle Management and Capacity Planning teams on the timing and availability of product transitions to plan for platform end of life (minimizing E&O inventory) and ramp of new platformsDefine inventory buffer targets (in conjunction with Component Planning) and strategies based on historical usage and forecast. Define financial risk/liability associated with said buffers.Review priorities between production and spares to create allocation plans for constrained materials.Act as primary liaison between production planning and warranty teams to define processes to ensure supply across both demand streams.Develop processes and tools to support allocations between parties.Embody our Culture and Values

Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 3+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR equivalent experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 5+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 4+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR equivalent experience.Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to build credibility and trust while driving Microsoft’s Capacity goalsKnowledge of inventory management process and logistics, including metrics and analyticsTrack record in delivering change, process improvementCapable of performing complex data analysis to identify problems or opportunities to improve supply chain performanceExperience managing inventory and material movement through a 3rd party logistics providerCritical thinking and ability to drive resolution in ambiguous situationsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentExperience with SAP PO management and ARIBA CollabEffective communication and presentation skills Experience in Spares and Warranty is a plus
Supply Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
