Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth including AI!CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.
Within CSCP Strategy and Transformation (S&T) Process Engineering, the newly established S&T Project Management Office (PMO) aims to transform project delivery into a smooth, repeatable experience. Our goal is to enhance transparency during project execution by fostering strategic relationships with key customers and partners. Success depends on collaboration, contributions, and buy-in from stakeholders across S&T functions, CSCP, and our cloud business functions (ie. planning, sourcing and manufacturing).
This function will provide Project Management Office (PMO) oversight aligned to Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Business Operations to foster:
• Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with MCP Business Operations and supporting Engineering teams to ensure alignment on strategic initiatives
• Status Reporting: Manage execution status reports to communicate project progress to senior leaders.
• Visibility and Communication: Elevate the visibility of key projects and initiatives through effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes
The Senior Supply Chain Program Manager in the Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for managing and overseeing multiple projects and programs to ensure they align with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with various organizations, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Program Management: Oversee the portfolio planning, execution, and value tracking of multiple projects, ensuring they meet organizational goals and timeline.Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for business operations, providing regular updates on project status and value enablement. Facilitate communication between product management and business operations to ensure alignment and address any concerns.Data Quality and Reporting: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of release data in Azure DevOps (ADO) and other project management tools. This includes reviewing project artifacts, tracking key metrics, and generating reports for leadership. Provide training and guidance to users as needed.Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them. Facilitate meetings to assess progress and address any issues that may arise.Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product management, and business operations, to ensure successful project delivery.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve PMO processes and standards to elevate project visibility and improve efficiency. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or Programming OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in Engineering, Operations, Project Management, or ProgrammingOR equivalent experience.4+ years of experience in project or program management with managing stakeholder relationships.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Scrum.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage.Lean six sigma certificate.Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO) and other project management tools.Familiarity with the technology industry and experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Technical Solution Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
