Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale. Our mission is to deliver capacity for all cloud services predictably through intelligent systems driven by continuous learning and a world class organization. The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide.We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide. The ISP team manages the supply plan, the signal that is sent to our sourcing partners, End To End Inventory, as well as CAPEX within Cloud Capacity Planning.
This position, Supply Chain Planner (CAPEX), will be responsible for leading the Server Component CAPEX monthly process and driving alignment with Finance partners on investments needed to execute the Plan of Record.

Drive and optimize the monthly rhythm of business to deliver Server Component CAPEX ask on time per workback timeline.Collaborate and drive alignment across Planning, Sourcing, and Finance on the sub-elements of CAPEX ask (Standard, Non-Standard, Buffer, NPI).E2E SOP owner driving governance and training of process as well as continuous improvement to optimize effectiveness & efficiency • Execute ROB in SAP/IBP to ensure approved component capex and buffer levels are ingested into supplier forecast.Generate monthly Structural and Server Network CAPEX asks.Build out CAPEX analytics to understand trends, current forecast vs approvals, and actualization • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Capacity Planning, Server and Component Planning, Finance and Systems Engineering teams.Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 1+ year(s) supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related fieldOR equivalent experience.1+ years of Program Management, Supply Chain Planning, or Sourcing experience1+ years of experience in managing financial aspects within a supply chain context, including but not limited to pricing, budgeting, and shipment forecasting.Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 4+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 2+ years supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experienceOR equivalent experience.Good communication/presentation skills and the ability to effectively manage key stakeholders, resolve problems and seek practical solutions.Good analytical skills and knowledge in root cause analysis/problem solving and the ability to implement and drive corrective actions and efficiencies in a matrix environment.A proven track record of growth and continuous improvement.Good understanding of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) elements and process across multiple supply chain teams.Supply Planning IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $98,800 - $163,300 per year.
