As a Strategic Account Technology Strategist on the Health and Life Sciences Account Team Unit – Life Sciences and Medical Technology, you will help shape the technology strategy for some of Microsoft’s most important customers at a time when Artificial Intelligence is transforming every industry. You will partner closely with executive stakeholders, translate complex business priorities into technology roadmaps, and orchestrate a broad virtual team to deliver measurable customer value across security, data, cloud, and Artificial Intelligence–driven transformation. This opportunity gives you broad exposure across Microsoft’s solution portfolio, direct engagement with senior technical and business leaders, and the ability to influence strategic outcomes for high-potential Medical Technology accounts. Responsibilities
Lead long-term technology strategy formulation for some of the largest and most complex strategic accounts, analyzing overall customer needs and identifying gaps that can be addressed through Microsoft solutions to drive digital transformation and business outcomes.Serve as a trusted advisor and account thought leader to senior executives and decision makers, aligning Microsoft’s product landscape and strategy to the customer’s business priorities, and guiding extended internal teams with deep customer and industry insights.Orchestrate global and virtual account teams, partners, and technical resources to create and execute comprehensive account plans, coverage models, and execution frameworks that support quota attainment, consumption targets, and technology adoption goals.Create and drive new demand by leading account strategy envisioning, shaping technology roadmaps for Artificial Intelligence, cloud, and Industrial Metaverse scenarios, and generating new opportunities that accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft solutions.Provide ongoing education and thought leadership for customer executives and technical teams, delivering regular industry and technology engagements, advancing customer skilling, and positioning Microsoft as a strategic partner for long-term innovation.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education, technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR Master's Degree AND 9+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education, technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR 13+ years experience in working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education, technology) and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience.6+ years experience making recommendations to and/or collaborating with mid-to-senior level executives.8+ years experience closing large, complex agreements/deals.

Strategic Account Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,000 - $222,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $170,300 - $239,800 per year.
