We are seeking future business leaders to join our Supplier Enablement group as a Senior Sourcing Manager, driving indirect sourcing excellence while leading process, tools, and AI‑enabled automation across procurement. This role goes beyond traditional sourcing to modernize how we manage contracts, suppliers, compliance, and category value at scale.

The successful candidate will apply deep procurement subject‑matter expertise, market intelligence, and policy acumen to influence channel and sourcing strategies cross‑functionally and cross‑regionally, while delivering scalable, consistent, and high‑quality execution through automation and digital enablement.

Drive business impact by applying deep expertise in procurement processes, policies, and market intelligence to develop and influence channel and sourcing strategies across functions and regions.Define, maintain, and execute sourcing strategies for complex indirect categories and purchasing initiatives to reduce cost, mitigate risk, and ensure continuity of supply and service.Lead efforts to automate contract approval workflows, contract administration, and lifecycle tracking, improving cycle times, consistency, accuracy, and compliance at scale.Collaborate cross‑functionally to define supplier scorecard frameworks, including KPIs, SLAs, compliance metrics, and realized value measurements.Design and implement performance dashboards and scorecards to track preferred supplier savings and financial benefits, category strategy coverage and adoption, contract, policy, and supplier compliance outcomes.Apply AI and advanced analytics to proactively identify supplier risk, compliance gaps, and policy deviations, enabling preventative action rather than reactive controls.Embody Microsoft’s culture and values

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Master's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 3+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operation OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 4+ years experience in data science/analytics, finance, project management, supply chain, and/or operations OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of experience in stakeholder engagement and running sourcing projects.Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Proven cross-functional team facilitation experience preferred. Experience working successfully with international businesses and understanding the intricacies and nuances of various cultures and countries.Analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities in finance and business subjects. Proficient communication and presentation skills.

Sourcing and Category Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
