As the Solution Play Go to Market Manager, AI Business Solutions you will play an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible for our AI Business Solution Go to Market (GTM) Team. In this role, you will drive worldwide insights and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale with a sharp focus on AI Workforce (Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Chat, Front Line Workers (FLW) and teams).
This role requires a leader who excels at guiding virtual teams and shaping strategic marketing initiatives that align with business objectives. You’ll define success through measurable performance metrics, work with cutting-edge technologies, and foster cross-team alignment and momentum. You’ll remove obstacles, simplify complex ideas, and embrace bold challenges with confidence. You be a primary product spokesperson and product evangelist for the business as a whole, inclusive of products within the Product Manager-owned portfolio and leverage product, industry, market and competitive knowledge as well as technical expertise to develop localized competitive strategy, position the value proposition and tailor messaging to both internal (e.g., sales and marketing readiness) and external audiences (e.g., press, analysts, partners, user community, customers). You will build and drive business strategy and track the efficacy of plans for the line(s) of business to drive sustainable growth within and beyond the boundaries of the fiscal year. You will create and orchestrate strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans for assigned line(s) of business across sales, marketing, consulting, customer success and partner functions, supporting One-Microsoft, cross-functional execution as appropriate and you will collaborate with one commercial partner (OCP) to guide and support the execution of programs to recruit and enable partners to achieve target capacity and quality. You will partner with sales to land field enablement accountability and serve as an orchestrator between the business and the areas/subsidiaries to develop and land sales programs along with partnering with Finance and Product Marketing Manager (PMM) teams to ensure team is aligned with business results. You will support the creation and pursuit of white-space growth opportunities across products/services and leverage knowledge of revenue, share targets and the area/subsidiary's capabilities in order to develop strategies that maximize performance across products/services. You will partner with engineering to proactively drive capacity forecasting and leverage competitive knowledge to shape local capacity and service forecasts as you liaise with sales teams to provide coaching and support pipeline and sales enablement. Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.4+ years experience driving Go To Market (GTM) solution plays3+ years of experience or knowledge in any of the following Workforce technologies:Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Chat, Teams or equivalent. Additional or Preferred Qualifications
10+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience. 4+ years experience enabling marketing strategy in partnership with Marketing leadership team and Sales Enablement/Operations team.8+ years of experience driving Sales and Go-to-Market initiatives for Small and Medium Businesses, with a proven track record in crafting and executing strategic GTM plans, enabling sales teams through targeted programs, and leading cross-functional efforts across marketing, product management, and business planning. Skilled in orchestrating partner and product marketing campaigns, conducting customer and market analysis, and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey through actionable insights and strategic execution.Effective communicator and storyteller, skilled at translating intricate concepts into accessible and compelling storiesProficient Business Acumen and Business Analysis Skills (understands financials, sales processes, scorecards and key performance indicators) Experienced in cross-group collaboration skills and ability to manage stakeholders across large matrix organizations.
Field Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
