The Clinical Applications Sales Specialist is a field-based role in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sales organization. This position is quota and commission-based and is assigned to specific accounts and/or territory. The Clinical AI Strategy Executive focuses on presale and post-sales activities to drive customer Copilot adoption/consumption in the SMC and Strategic and Majors markets. As a Healthcare Copilot expert, the Clinical AI Strategy Executive drives product adoption through a consultative approach by providing data insights, establishing partnerships with executive sponsors to drive change management, and optimizing frameworks for success for new or existing Copilot customers. This role requires collaboration with the Microsoft account team, Customer Success Organization, and other internal resources.
Responsibilities
You will serve as a knowledge leader in the role of AI-powered clinical documentation across diverse healthcare organizations, including hospitals, academic institutions, and large healthcare systems. You will act as a solution resource for Dragon Copilot and related SaaS-based systems, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders in healthcare environments. Collaborate proactively and strategically with the core account team—including Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Technical Specialists—to align on account plans, drive joint sales motions, and ensure seamless execution of solution strategies for healthcare clients in Strategic, Major & Education markets. You will demonstrate presentation skills across various formats such as in-person meetings, virtual sessions, conference calls, and industry events, tailoring each presentation to meet the needs of healthcare decision-makers. You will apply strategic thinking and creativity to navigate ambiguity and agile environments, working both independently and collaboratively to deliver meaningful value in every prospect and client interaction. You will conduct software demonstrations aligned with healthcare workflow requirements, clearly illustrating how Dragon Copilot addresses specific needs and enhances operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration,Information Security, Information Security, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technology-related sales or account management OR equivalent experience.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:3+ years in a consultative role throughout the customer lifecycle.
3+ years of AI selling experience in healthcare cloud-based solutions.5+ years of healthcare technology-related sales or account management experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 3+ years of healthcare technology-related sales or account management experience.5+ years of working with healthcare systems with a proven ability to collaborate with executives at different levels.
5+ years of experience with EMR platforms and provider/patient workflows.
Solution Area Specialists IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $87,000 - $148,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $113,400 - $164,000 per year.
