Description

As a Software Engineer II, you will build scalable, reliable backend systems that power these real‑time insights and support Glint’s analytics, reporting, and Copilot‑enabled experiences. You will work closely with Product, Design, Frontend, and SRE teams to deliver secure, performant, and enterprise‑grade services for customers worldwide.

Responsibilities
Understand User Requirements – Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to clarify requirements and incorporate continuous feedback loops.Design and Architecture – Contribute to solution architecture, create design documents, and ensure alignment with security, privacy, and compliance requirements.Coding and Code Quality – Implement maintainable, extensible code and participate in reviews that uphold Microsoft engineering standards.Testing and Automation – Develop and refine test plans, integrate automation, and ensure robust test coverage for backend services.Deployment and Live Site Support – Support safe deployments, participate in on‑call rotations, and mitigate issues for live services within SLA expectations.Engineering Excellence – Integrate telemetry, improve tools and processes, and maintain compliance with reliability, accessibility, and regulatory expectations.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python;OR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years engineering experience;OR Master’s Degree AND 2+ years engineering experience;OR equivalent experience.Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and Azure cloud services.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability systems, and secure coding practices.#DPG
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
