The Business Applications Platform is a rapidly growing organization behind Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio and more. The Power Platform Connectors team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a team of motivated, innovative, and diverse sets of customer-focused engineers and engineering leaders.
Microsoft Dataverse is the underlying data platform for Power Apps, Power Automate and more that is responsible for the core functionality such as server-side logic, business process flows, a highly sophisticated security model, and an extensible platform for developers to build apps. The Power Platform Connectors team in Dataverse is embarking on the next set of opportunities to expand the footprint of Connector and Dataverse adoption. Connectors is the data integration point which enables multiple applications and business processes by providing access to data from various sources in a low code no code paradigm. In the age of AI, connectors become an enabler that can provide Copilot with access to data from different sources as plugins. Expanding the universe of copilot with more data sources is our next big opportunity in this space.

Lead the design, develop and deliver high-impact features to enhance the experience of power platform connectors.Collaborate within the team and with partner teams to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences.Ensure software fundamentals of availability, latency, scalability requirements are met in the system.Deliver features in agile environment with high quality.Contribute to product improvements by filing impactful bugs, design change requests, and fix and ship them to production, preventing customer impact.Able to work well in challenging situations while exhibiting flexibility and managing ambiguity and uncertainty.Communicate issues and recommendations clearly and concisely, show attention to detail.Embody our Culture & Values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Pythono OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience working with microservices, containers, and cloud technologies, preferably Azure.3+ years of experience with network and web protocols, such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, OAuth, etc.2+ years of experience with C#, PowerShell, Azure Compute, Azure DevOps, Git, or other scripting and automation tools.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Experience dealing with multi-region, large-scale, complex infrastructures and distributed systems.Ability to learn new technologies and domains quickly and independently.Passion for delivering high quality products and services that delight customers.Experience dealing with multi-region, large-scale, complex infrastructures and distributed systems.Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
