Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services and our team is focused on delivering high quality infrastructure to support cloud operations. As Microsoft’s Cloud business continues to mature, our infrastructure expansion accelerates, and Data Centers are central to this growth. To support this, the acquisition and development of our owned, designed, and constructed Data Center facilities will scale to meet the demands of our customers, while we also continue to lease and acquire Data Center capacity at pace, particularly in our high growth markets, working closely with Data Center operators in each region, and across the Globe.Job Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will support our COI+I Lease and Land -Solution Delivery team; will have a background in Azure Full Stack, Azure DevOps, Dynamic CRM PowerApps, C#, ASP.NET, Python, JavaScript, Web API, Web services/Rest APIs & excellent working knowledge of SQL Server including TSQL programming and/or related database technologies. In addition, we are seeking expertise in algorithm design, and analytical skills to drive the development and optimization of our systems and tools.

Design, code, test and deliver/deploy high quality software that powers every increasing demand of availability, reliability, security and performance at large enterprise scale.Collaborate with Architects to ensure application design is aligned to the current & Future State Architecture.Convert complex design into solid implementations that scale and perform. Ensure solution delivered adheres to the technological standards established in the organization.Design and implement proof of concept as needed for solutions as an individual contributor. Follow industry best practices for Agile development in a team environment.Research and keep current on technologies and system solutions Work closely with technical program managers, engineering and architecture teams to deliver high quality services.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
Development experience within Azure Cloud.Experience with Azure Full Stack, Azure DevOps, Dynamic CRM PowerApps, C#, ASP.NET, Python, JavaScript, Web API, Web services/Rest APIs & excellent working knowledge with SQL Server including TSQL programming and/or related database technologies.Experience using common object-oriented or functional languages such as C#, Python, or JavaDevelopment experience within Azure Cloud.Experience with CI\CD tools, practices and source control Coding/testing/Integration experience Experience with Azure DevOps and GitHub tooling Scripting knowledge in Powershell.Platform development experience for sandboxed environmentsSoftware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
