Our team delivers MS Graph change notifications to applications at planet scale for changes in MS Graph resource data for various workloads including M365 and Entra. We also implement delta query/change tracking mechanisms enabling such applications to efficiently synchronize resource data changes with their local data store. We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building distributed, highly available and secure services as well as who deeply cares about developer experience. Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions.Contribute technical expertise to help make sound architecture, design and implementation decisions.Troubleshoot and optimize test automation, reliability, performance, and monitoring for production services.Adhere to and drive modern software engineering practices through design reviews. Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

4+ years of experience with Distributed Services.Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coding and debugging skills from prior work on distributed systems. API design and engineering for scale. Exposure and/or experience with Azure or other cloud technologies. Security experience.Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
