As a Senior Software Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for the following:

Play a pivotal role in developing top-tier services and serverless infrastructure that powers the Azure Adaptive Cloud platform. We seek adept developers with a fervor for exploring new domains, crafting clean and optimized code, enhancing coding standards, and delivering swiftly while maintaining a customer-centric focus.We operate on brief, frequent release cycles, fostering innovation across numerous areas. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, GO, Rust or Python OR equivalent experience.4+ years of experience building reliable, distributed systems at scale

Other Requirements

Background Check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing and building distributed systems Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills Real passion for understanding key business problems and opportunities, and for setting and driving towards measurable goals Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a great teammate Excellent collaboration and organizational skills Great analytical skills, and high intellectual horsepower Rust, Go, JSON/XML/YAML, REST, Web API experience would be useful Knowledge of Azure, Google Compute Platform or Amazon Web Services is desirable

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
