We are looking a Senior Software Engineer to help us build the fastest-growing Microsoft commercial signup platform in the world. Lead efforts and discussions for the architecture for products/solutions (ex.- design, cost).Create proposals for architecture and design documents, identification of dependencies, technical decisions. Partner with project management team to determine user requirements, KPIs & success metrics. Lead by example and mentor others (through code review) to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products. Lead efforts to optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI). Building highly scalable services (API, backend) with high scenario quality metrics.Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, .Net, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Experience building highly scalable services (API, backend).Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS or similar cloud computing platforms. Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
 Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR master’s degree in computer science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Solid design and coding skills with a bias for architecture at scale. Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, and maintaining online services.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
