We are seeking a self‑driven and motivated engineer to contribute to several critical initiatives in the ledger space. This role requires strong technical depth, solid engineering judgment, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive solutions forward.

As a member of the core engineering team, you will own and execute on key initiatives that expand service capabilities and improve performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with partner teams across Azure to integrate with related offerings and help deliver value across the confidential computing ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Work with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.Support identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product feature.Learn to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.Assist and learn about breaking down work items into tasks and provide estimation.Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) in monitoring system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and recommend actions to restore system/product/service.Review current developments and proactively seek new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python,OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with technical experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Experience with Container Orchestration concept, tools and platforms. Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
