As a Principal Software Engineer in the Microsoft Dynamics Customer Experiences Applications team, you will work with senior business and technology leaders as well as internal business users and Partners to conceive, design and implement Dynamics 365 applications and pick the best technical architecture to solve their business needs.

Responsibilities
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing features towards a wide variety of business applications and services within Dynamics 365 products portfolio as well as ensuring they are done to meet rigorous quality standards with the result being software that is used by individuals and businesses throughout the world. In short you will do the following:
Envision, Design, implement, test, deploy, maintain, and improve our software components and servicesEmbrace and use state-of-the-art new technologiesParticipate in technical discussions and bring new ideas on the tableOwn quality of your codeWork with Product Managers, Architects and UX Designers to design and specify new features from the engineering standpointDevelop software that empowers customers to optimize their business processesAuthor internal tools that improve the teams’ quality and productivityContribute to the positive, solution focused and creative team spiritSupport less experienced team members in their progress and development Throughout your tasks, you will work closely with Program Managers and other Software Engineers to optimize design, quality and functionality as Microsoft places a premium on the ability to work well in a team environment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
8+ years professional software development with at least one of the following C#/C++/Java, SQL, React/Angular, Typescript.Experience with design and implementation of enterprise-scale services Experience delivering Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform solutions desirable Excellent verbal, written, and cross-team collaboration skills are essential to succeed in this role. A strong team player and collaborator, across time zones and diverse stakeholder groups. Passion for improving software quality and engineering excellence.Experience in developing, debugging, and supporting code in object-oriented languages and database querying languages.Experience with building infrastructure using Microsoft Azure technology like Service Fabric, App Service, Docker.Experience in developing and debugging product and test code within a micro-services architecture. #BICJOBS #CXAJOBS
Software Engineering IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
