IAM Protect Team (Identity and Access Management) builds and manages the products and services and Infrastructure on which Microsoft systems run. We boldly pursue big ideas that power transformational advances within Microsoft, while helping Microsoft teams work more securely and seamlessly every day. The role is for the access management within Microsoft focusing on various aspects including access evaluation, hardening and governance. Responsibilities
• Design and implement full stack systems working with the team.
• Adhere to modern engineering practices, effective coding, writing unit test cases, debugging, code reviewing and creating CI/CD pipelines.
• Work with customers and collaborate with other teams to own end to end solutions and delivery.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and help implement them.
• Debug bugs, production issues and address them in a timely manner.
• Review work of peer members.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and / or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire / transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience working in cloud services doing full stack back-end development Experience in Identity management principles.Demonstrate passion and ability in collaborating with external teams, partners and customers.Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including, but not limited to: C#, ReactJS, JavaScript, PowerShell

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
