We are infusing AI throughout the process to radically change the way marketing content is generated, rendered and personalized.  We are looking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer who is passionate about building solid, reliable platforms and experiences that delight end users.  As a Senior Software Engineer on the Marketing Engineering team, you will be a technical leader, team mentor and provide clarity on issues, designs and requirements. This is an opportunity for you to bring your passion and skills and help make an impact on marketing experience.  In this role, you'll design and deliver reliable, scalable services and user‑facing capabilities that move marketing stack forward. You’ll lead technical design, raise the engineering bar through reviews and mentorship, and partner with PM, Design, and Data Science to land Gen AI powered features safely and at scale.

Responsibilities
Design, architect, and build highly scalable services, APIs, and data pipelines that support marketing operations and improve customer experience.Lead technical design reviews, drive engineering best practices, and mentor junior engineers.Partner with product managers, data scientists, and marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Develop robust monitoring, alerting, and automation to ensure system reliability and operational excellence.Contribute to long-term architectural vision and influence engineering strategy across the team.Write clean, maintainable, and secure code with comprehensive test coverage.Drive experimentation and continuous improvement using modern CI/CD and cloud-native practices.Help identify opportunities to improve and optimize existing systems using generative AI. Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in generative AI.Embody our  Culture  and  Values
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to Java, C# or Python OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a software engineer, developing and shipping software in Python, C#, Java or modern language equivalent.5+ years of experience building and deploying large-scale distributed systems or cloud-based services.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP for deploying and scaling applications.Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and concepts (e.g., supervised learning, unsupervised learning, deep learning) as applied to generative AI.Experience with AI agent development and prompt fine tuning.Familiarity in deep learning architectures (Transformers, CNNs, RNNs) and knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP)Knowledge of containers (Docker) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
