Within Azure Data, the business intelligence team builds and maintains Power BI which is the undisputed leader in BI tool in the industry today and serves as the bridge between data professionals & Office users. Power BI’s core value proposition is to enable end users to get answers and insights from their data through data visualization.
The Power BI self-service team's mission is to democratize data visualization and analytics, making it accessible and intuitive for everyone, regardless of their experience in data science. Responsibilities
Deliver world-class user experiences and cloud services at scale to customers in collaboration with architects, UX designers, and product managers. 
Lead the design, delivery, rollout of new features with good quality, maintainability, and end-to-end ownership.
Maintain customer focus, considering current and future needs when designing and implementing features. 
Collaborate effectively within the team and with partner teams across Microsoft.
Contribute to a culture of excellence, inclusion, collaboration, and customer focus.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience with creating responsive and accessible UI using TypeScript, Angular, RxJs, or equivalent 
4+ years of backend development experience (designing and working with APIs, databases, etc.)
1+ year of experience mentoring lower-level engineers and performing collaborative technical reviews Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred/Additional Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. Experience with LLMs and AI assisted developer tools
Experience with development of Business Intelligence and analytics products
