We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

The Analytics and Telemetry infrastructure team aims to create the best logging platform for the organization by setting the latest standards and ensuring adherence through best practices.

Our mission is to develop a fault-tolerant, scalable cell-based architecture that supports telemetry and analytics for customers, including Copilot services, across thousands of employees. This approach ensures fast, secure, and safe service delivery, achieving economies of scale and addressing challenges centrally. We are responsible for the security, authorization, analytics and insights, monitoring, visibility, and monetization of the Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 products, and Microsoft Dataverse platform.

Microsoft Dataverse is a platform designed to securely store vast amounts of data in a cost-efficient, scalable, and easily manageable way. Our team builds large-scale infrastructure for Dataverse, part of the Business Industry & Copilot group, and hosts thousands of microservices globally, adhering to the highest standards and service maturity out of the box.

• Contribute to the success of our end-to-end data pipelines starting from data collecting agents to customer facing experiences

• Monitoring and support of modern services based on the Azure platforms

• Collaborating across diverse teams of engineers to solve challenging problems for distributed, large-scale applications

• Debugging and handling complex customer reported issues that span across multiple services.

• Design for scale, resiliency, and performance



Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 4+ years of software design and development in backend systems.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI productsExperience delivering Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform solutions desirable 

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
