Bring your experience to a vibrant team through design review, code review, and mentoring while helping the team build an inclusive interdisciplinary culture where everyone can do their best work Define, design, and deliver experiences from incubation stage to maturity with customer trust and user delight as core design principles Develop and release features for new and existing Microsoft apps Work with our product and design teams to implement an intuitive and engaging user experience Define and build systems to ensure high quality, stable, and performant code Perform code and design reviews that guarantee code quality and that allow our members to learn and grow their expertiseGather feedback from real users and iterate in a data driven manner

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and shipping software3+ years of experience in developing end user facing experiencesPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience.Expertise level Windows application and/or Chrome extension developerSolid client/service experience delivering cloud-driven user experience – e.g., through React/Web ComponentsEnjoy learning and ramping up on new technologies quicklyCommitment to data-driven decision-makingSolid UI and design skills, programming and algorithm design skills, and verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of object-oriented software development, algorithms, and data structures
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
