The Microsoft Intune Team protect Microsoft’s customers and their devices across the world and secure their devices from corporate espionage, data leakage, and application infiltration. Intune is a multi-platform solution (Windows, iOS, MacOS and Android), integrates with key cloud services at Microsoft, and is built on some of the latest Azure technologies. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us with AI for IT. This team is responsible for building Copilot and Agentic AI capabilities, which enable admins to efficiently complete their tasks, making organizations more productive and secure.

This Hybrid Position is located at our Microsoft office in Redmond, Washington. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the field location.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Ruby or PythonOR equivalent experience.4+ year(s) of industry experience building, designing, managing and delivering highly available, large-scale: cloud services and/or distributed systems / services on a cloud platform

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Ruby or Python

Industry experience with big data pipelines, data lake and cloud distributed databases such as Mongo, CosmosDBIndustry experience performing security code reviews – OR – experience using static analyzers.Industry experience in security domain, general familiarity with common vulnerability patterns.Industry experience with prompt engineering and building AI enabled solutionsIndustry experience in cloud services with Azure technologies such as Azure, VectorDB/CosmosDB/GraphDB, Service Bus, Service FabricSoftware Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
