We are hiring a motivated Software Engineer to join the AI powered protection team for Endpoint DLP to help build a best-in-class data protection platform for Microsoft customers. Responsibilities
Designs and Implements customer facing data security capabilities that enable enterprise-grade features for the Microsoft Endpoint Data Loss Prevention (EDLP) product.Writes and learns to create code that is extensible and maintainable.Learns about and applies diagnosability, reliability, and maintainability, and understands when the code is ready to be shared and delivered.Develops an awareness of the current technology landscape.Escalates findings from investigations to team members for design decisions.Contributes to monitoring dependency status and ensuring that only the latest, secure versions are deployed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience in designing, building and shipping high quality production products or services. \Proven experience developing software using C++ in a production environment.Reliable communication skills across the team and company.

Software Engineering IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $84,200 - $165,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $109,000 - $180,400 per year.
